Why we built AuPairly
My husband and I tried an agency first. We paid a big fee and still ended up with candidates who weren't a good fit. So we tried it ourselves, posting an ad and handling everything on WhatsApp. We were flooded with replies from people who clearly hadn't read a word of the ad, and had to hand out our number and address to total strangers just to find out if they were worth talking to.
