About
Work Experience
Hi, I'm Avuyile! I'm a third-year Bachelor of Education student at UNISA with three years of teaching practice and a genuine passion for working with children. As a mathematics and literacy tutor at Yearbeyond for the past year, I've developed strong skills in helping young learners grow academically and build confidence. My experience as head boy has also taught me responsibility and the importance of being a positive role model. What matters most to me is honesty and integrity — I believe in doing what's right, always. I'm particularly well-suited to support families with primary school children who need help with homework or extra academic guidance. I'm fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa, which can be really helpful for communication. I'm available part-time from April 2026 and hold a valid driver's license. I'm based in Thembalethu, Western Cape, and I'm genuinely excited about bringing my teaching experience and dedication into a family home. I'd love to make a meaningful difference in a child's life!
