About
Work Experience
Hello! I'm Bernice, and I'm passionate about providing warm, reliable childcare that truly makes a difference. With experience caring for two families and children ranging from 3 to 12 years old, I've developed strong skills in homework support, daily routine management, and creating nurturing environments where children thrive. What sets me apart is my background in Psychology combined with hands-on experience supporting neurodivergent children. I approach each child with genuine patience and understanding, recognising that every child has unique needs. I'm calm, caring, and naturally drawn to creating safe, loving spaces where children feel secure. Beyond childcare, I'm an avid reader and baker—hobbies that often find their way into the activities I do with children! I'm First Aid qualified, hold my Police Clearance, and have completed Child Safety Training, so you can feel confident in my commitment to safety and professionalism. I'm fluent in English, Tswana, and Afrikaans, and I'm available full-time from April 2026. I'm genuinely excited about joining a family and becoming part of your home.
