Hi! I'm Portia, and I'm passionate about working with children. I've had the privilege of caring for a little one from age one through four, where I helped her develop early literacy skills and watched her grow. Being a mother myself has given me deep patience and understanding when it comes to kids – I genuinely have a soft spot for them and truly enjoy what I do. I'm naturally bubbly and enthusiastic, which I think helps create a warm, happy environment for the children I care for. What's important to me is balancing the kids' needs with supporting parents too, because I know how much that partnership matters. I'm patient, caring, and committed to making childcare feel easy and stress-free for the whole family. I'm available full-time from immediately and based in Hornlee, Western Cape. I speak English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa, which I hope will be helpful. I'm eager to bring my energy, experience, and love for children to a family that needs support.
